Assigning the BlackBerry Internet Service website to a folder in Outlook

By assigning your service provider’s BlackBerry Internet Service web site to a folder in Outlook, you can quickly access the BlackBerry Internet Service without having to open an Internet browser.

To assign the BlackBerry Internet Service to an Outlook folder:

  • Open Outlook.
  • If the Folder List is not visible, click theView menu and select Folder List.
  • From the Folder List, right-click the Inbox and select New Folder.
  • In the Name field, type BlackBerry Internet Service.
  • Make sure the Folder contains field is set toMail and Post Items, then clickOK.
  • From the Folder List, right-click the BlackBerry Internet Service folder and selectProperties.
  • Click the Home Page tab.
  • In the Address field, type the address to your service provider’s BlackBerry Internet Service web site.  Note: To find your service provider’s BlackBerry Internet Service web site, visit the Support section at www.blackberry.com.
  • Select the Show home page by default for this folder check box, then click OK.

To access the BlackBerry Internet Service in Outlook

  • Open Outlook.
  • From the Folder List, click the BlackBerry Internet Service folder. The BlackBerry Internet Service web site appears.
  • Log in to your BlackBerry Internet Service account.
